Our Selection of Excellent Dental Services
Everything We Do, We do with Caring Attentiveness
Some people call us perfectionists. Others call us nurturing. Whatever you care to call it, we want our dentistry to carefully balance form and function, beauty and comfort, and compassion and excellence.
Inlays and Onlays
Because inlays and onlays are made of porcelain, they are long-lasting and actually strengthen the tooth. Inlays and onlays are custom-fabricated by a dental lab technician so it fits precisely into the tooth. They are then bonded to the surface of the tooth allowing us to preserve more of your natural tooth surface.
What our patients love most is that no one can see them when they smile! An inlay or onlay is individually created with precision to blend perfectly with your own tooth so your smile looks naturally healthy and bright!
Composite Fillings for Healthy Smiles
We have found that silver/mercury fillings can damage the teeth they were meant to restore. Worse yet, they may also affect your overall health. The metal in our mouth responds to changes in temperature. Whenever you eat or drink—hot or cold—mercury fillings will expand or contract in response which causes shifting and then bacteria can enter the tooth.
Composite tooth-colored fillings or porcelain bonded restorations help prevent the side effects of toothaches, broken teeth, and mercury exposure. They are indistinguishable from your natural tooth and blend beautifully with tooth enamel.
You know how much your teeth do for you—they allow you to chew, support your face, and help you smile. We believe that function and balance are just as important as the appearance of your smile. That is why we create dental crowns that not only look great while protecting your tooth but are also comfortable, precision fitted, and work to support your bite as well as keep your jaw in proper balance. Crowns have a surprisingly natural feeling in your mouth—in fact, some of our patients actually forget which tooth has been repaired with one of our superb porcelain crowns!
While losing your teeth can make you feel terribly embarrassed and frustrated, you have joined the ranks of millions of people who live without most of their teeth, including a long list of people in the public eye. Even Clark Gable and James Dean had dentures!
Dentures and partial dentures created by Dr. John Kling are so superbly comfortable and skillfully balanced; they fit and function as close to your own teeth as possible while looking like nature created them just for you. Dentures and partial dentures are made of materials that mimic natural tooth structure and shading while also mimicking the strength and durability of natural enamel.
Troubled smiles—smiles on which time, neglect or accidents have taken their toll—these are the smiles we think need an extra measure of compassion and respect. If your teeth hurt, have been lost, are discolored, broken, cracked, or worn down, or if you are unhappy with the way your mouth feels and functions, our full mouth dental rehabilitation may be just what you have been looking for.
With a full mouth rehabilitation, every aspect of your mouth is considered and addressed, from the health of your gums to the appearance of your teeth, to the function and balance of your jaw and bite. Collaboration with like-minded dental professionals as Dr. Kling results in personal, customized care to give you the perfect results.
Once treatment is complete, we can celebrate the beginning of a smile that not only looks good but also functions and feels the way nature intended.
Missing teeth can make life difficult, inconvenient, and sometimes even embarrassing. Dr. Kling and his compassionate staff would like to help you find the confidence and zest for life you thought you had lost forever with the innovation of dental implants.
What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are an ideal way to replace your teeth because they act just the way a natural tooth does. Composed of a post that resembles a screw and topped with a crown, implants are anchored to the jawbone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures. One of the greatest benefits offered by dental implants is better health. When you rely on Dr. John Kling to complete your restoration, you can be sure your crown and implant restoration will be expertly placed and that you will be treated in a gentle and caring manner.
If you are missing one or more teeth, our cosmetic, dental bridges can keep your remaining teeth from shifting while helping you look and feel better too. How? Dental bridges restore proper bite function, keep your jaw balanced, and let you chew and speak in a natural way. Our dental bridges are artfully designed, non removable dental appliances consisting of a natural-looking replacement tooth or teeth placed between your natural, healthy teeth. The bridge is held in place by porcelain dental crowns, which literally create a bridge over the gap. Fortunately, Dr. Kling offers beautiful, comfortable, and balanced bridges to help our patients get back to life, all with such genuine empathy and unsurpassed skill that you can relax and smile, even during the planning and restoration process.

Both conservative and less of an investment, dental bonding requires less preparation of the tooth than a porcelain veneer or crown. It does, however, take a special touch to make direct bonding look and feel natural. Dental bonding allows us to perfect your smile in one easy visit—we simply prepare the surface of your tooth, apply a bonding material to your prepared tooth, and carefully sculpt composite resin to fill gaps, repair chips, restore small cavities, or cover minor stains.
Clear Braces Are the Clear Choice
If crooked teeth, gaps in your smile, crowding, an overbite, or other minor balance issues are making you uncomfortable, we have a unique and perfectly wearable alternative to traditional braces—Invisalign® clear dental aligners. Straightening your teeth has never been easier!
Tooth reshaping gently and quickly recontours teeth, creating greater harmony and balance in your smile’s appearance. Dr. Kling uses a delicate sanding disk and a jeweler’s precision to shape and adjust the surfaces of your teeth. Since only the surface of the tooth is contoured, anesthesia is rarely needed and the procedure can be completed in one easy visit. On occasions, veneers may be the optimal way to reshape teeth. Dr. Kling meticulously assesses your needs and the existing condition of your teeth to form the perfect treatment plan for a striking yet functional smile.
Building Smiles – Building Trust
A smile makeover is a very special and memorable experience. People who have felt that they would never smile again have discovered that with care, understanding, and communication, their smiles can feel and look better than they ever dreamed. We start by listening. In fact, your feedback is the most essential part of your smile makeover. It is your smile after all and it should look, feel, and function in a way that is pleasing to you. Sometimes Dr. Kling recommends collaborating with other specialists to achieve spectacular results for an eye-catching smile!
How to Smile Better – Creating Your Smile Together
After we have decided what you need and want to repair or correct, we move on to building a smile that is in perfect proportion to your bone structure, age, and gender. This starts with a diagnostic wax-up which is a laboratory created template for your future beautiful smile.
This wax-up lets you see exactly how your finished smile will appear and lets you tweak and adjust until we find a look that enhances your appearance and feels completely natural. The completion of a smile makeover is a time for celebration in our office—in fact, these makeovers can be so life-changing that we all shed tears of joy! Our patients leave feeling more in control of their smiles, their dentistry, and their lives!

Teeth Grinding, Mouth Guard, TMJ
What Is Tooth Grinding or Bruxism?
Bruxism, or teeth grinding, is unconsciously clenching or grinding or biting down with too much force at times when you wouldn’t normally be chewing or biting anything, such as when you are sleeping or working.
How to Stop Grinding Teeth?
We can fit you with a custom-made bruxism guard to reduce the damage to your teeth from grinding or clenching and relieve your TMJ pain. While there are many appliances available, we often use the E-Appliance, the more you wear it, the more you protect your teeth and the better you feel!
TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction)
TMJ symptoms may include headaches, sensitive teeth, and jaw pain. We usually start by creating an occlusal guard to help relieve your TMJ pain. This guard is an acrylic jaw-repositioning appliance that eliminates discrepancies in your bite for balance and comfort. As your jaw position improves, we will adjust your splint for optimum comfort and effectiveness. TMJ treatment may also include an occlusal equilibration/stabilization and restorative dentistry. Restorative treatments such as adding resin material, dental crowns, or porcelain veneers can also be used to reshape, balance, and strengthen your bite.
